Music & Meditations
Music has successfully been used to both access and release deeply hidden emotions, therefore playing a crucial role in the healing of unprocessed emotional trauma and psychological difficulty.
Meditation is often accompanied by music, ironically so, in order to elicit a “silent” mind-space for one to heal. Research indicates that both music and meditation can benefit not just our minds, but our bodies too. For example, if you listen to music with a tempo slower than your heartbeat or if you meditate, your heart will likely slow down!

Music has always personally touched my life; my grandfather was a cantor, and my Nana infused me with songs of my heritage. I played piano, and later on cultivated my skills with guitar. The power of music in my own life has inspired me to integrate it into my work.
Here are some selections of music, meditations, and musical meditations to complement our therapeutic work in mind, body, brain and spirit.
